Oftentimes a single medical bill or unexpected diagnosis can derail a family’s entire budget and savings. Over half of all bankruptcies in the US are due to medical expenses.
Direct communication combined with our resources provides an opportunity to help balance the scales and give families hope and peace of mind as they focus on saving their loved ones lives.
The idea for The Nova Foundation started with the desire to help give students who were being overlooked by the traditional bureaucratic scholarship awarding process an opportunity. Our qualifications for scholarship have no disqualifies other than lack of need. GPAs, standardized tests and most traditional measurements are flawed qualifiers. We want to support the hardest working best intentioned kids where our support will have the largest impact on the direction of their lives. The character of our students is everything.
The Nova Foundation was formed to create a community of friends who are like minded and want to make a difference in peoples lives. We hope to serve as a force multiplier of good. Individually our efforts may not move the needle, but together we can make real change for one life at a time. It’s focus is on providing direct, timely, and impactful support for those in need.
